Our Mission
“The Missoula Tenants Union is dedicated to advocating for and building solidarity amongst tenants , in order to create collective power and fight for access to secure , affordable , and decent housing options for the renting population of Missoula and Western Montana.”
- Voting members of the MTU are individuals who are actively paying dues .
- Non-voting members of the MTU are individuals who are not paying dues.
- No one shall be turned away from the MTU due to an inability to pay dues.
Members of the Missoula Tenants Union shall affirm that they do not profit from the owning of property or from rent collected from tenants; put more simply, MTU members cannot be landlords.
